In this classical old building in Schwabing the architectural furniture was designed to be freestanding from its stucco ceiling. The furniture appears like a black monolith but is made of a gradation of different materials that give it a distinct character: dark Fenix and natural stone, a wall of black steel, and dark-stained oak wood. Fine handcrafted details add additional depth. In the entrance area of the apartment, a simple white fitting is subtly integrated into the hallway. Inserted into furniture are two frameless doors with minimal joints, leading to the storage and bathroom.
